Lockout Law Memorials was a public service campaign for Keep Sydney Open, a community activism group brought together to fight the State’s lockout laws. These laws have killed off late night venues across the city, threatening the future of Australian music.

The campaign encouraged activism both online and offline. Artists shared their memorials and personal stories across social media, which received global coverage, helping drive over 10,000 people to join Keep Sydney Open's public protest in October 2016.

Memorial Plaques shifted the needle on the lockouts for good.

•    Driving more than 10,000 people to participate in the Keep Sydney Open’s October rally.

•    And most importantly causing the government to respond, making a public statement promising         to reassess the Lockout Laws by the end of the year.
